[3 April 2023] ICASA has given notice of the annual increase to be implemented in respect of radio frequency spectrum licence fees. The new fees will be effective from 1 April 2023 and will increase by 6.9% based on the average Consumer Price Index (CPI).

[8 December 2014] ICASA has published notice of its intention to amend the Radio Frequency Spectrum Fees Regulations 2010.

Draft Radio Frequency Spectrum Fees Amendment Regulations 2014

The closing date for submissions is 13 February 2014.

The primary objectives of the proposed amendments are to accommodate use of bands above 50 GHz and to provide for a discount in the calculation of fees to be paid by security services for use of spectrum.
