[10 November 2013] The Universal Service and Access Agency of South Africa (USAASA) has published a Consultative Document on the Assessment of Access Gaps in the Country and called for public input. USAASA states that it is seeking to align the closing of access gaps in SA by aligning to broader national government priorities as detailed in the National Development Plan and New Growth Path. The Document was developed to outline “the process on assessment and qualification of access gaps and the strategy to close” these.
