June 2011: LLU creaks back to life in South Africa with the publication of a Discussion Paper by ICASA setting out its approach to unbundling the local loop and calling for comments from interested parties. While this promises to be fun any expectation of fast progress should be managed as Telkom has made it clear it does not intend to give up control of the wired last mile in a hurry.
